Better a patient person than a warrior, one with self-control than one who takes a city. Proverbs 16:32 A warrior already set for battle is one who may be impulsive and brash, the patient man has his life’s experience to guide him for a better solution for his everyday challenges, and one must play the part of the patient man. The book of proverbs is full of everyday wisdom for everyday challenges. 

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. John 1:5 This passage speaks of Christ in His holy light, and how the enemy has no power to overcome it, if you read more into the chapter, John is questioned and perhaps tested when a random person asked him if he was the messiah, he could have easily said yes but we know that GOD knows how to pick em huh?
