If we step out of ourselves, the view would seem completely different to what we used to be, one because of the change in pace and posture, not that GOD did a once over on us, but that He overhauled the spirit within, while we are a slave to mindless repetition of the everyday life, to be pulled away from this life is GOD’s gift and to be made aware of its real application which is to live life in its fullest, for His grace and mercy. Jesus Himself told us how to pray. Many people know the Lord’s Prayer by heart, but many times we don’t use it as a pattern for our overall prayer life. Paul said this is the reason that “in all these things we are more than conquerors.” We are super-victors with a joy that comes from experiencing the very things which look as if they are going to overwhelm us. Huge waves that would frighten an ordinary swimmer produce a tremendous thrill for the surfer who has ridden them. Let’s apply that to our own circ...
