What does it mean to anger a GOD of mercy?

Image
To anger a person who is not easily angered, you have to commit a grievous crime against him or those he loves, and that doesn’t necessarily mean he will react to your foul deed. It only means he has reached a point of anger, thank GOD we have level-headed people in the world, who can forgive us for our mistakes and teach us how to improve.  Man is not known to be easy-going, history shows acts of violence to one another that would turn your stomach, we are all capable of acts of violence against each other and it’s not something new to us, as I said history has shown us. But to anger GOD, what does that mean, a GOD of mercy, compassion, understanding and everlasting sovereignty. How do we do that,  Well this post is not how to, but why we shouldn’t. Matthew 18:6-7 “If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their ...

When we are born again by the Spirit of God, our testimony is based solely on what God has done for us, and rightly so. But that will change and be removed forever once you “receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you . . .” (Acts 1:8). Only then will you begin to realize what Jesus meant when He went on to say, “. . . you shall be witnesses to Me . . . .” Not witnesses to what Jesus can do—that is basic and understood—but “wit...

So Loved are we

See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.  1 John 3:1

Perfect Love

There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. Perfect Love

Praise the Lord you GOD

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. 2 Corinthians 1:1-2
